Yes. Both the handle and cartridge refills are fully autoclavable. For best results, autoclave the handle and cartridge separately.

Each standard cartridge contains 35 staples. The average veterinary surgery uses about 7–10 staples, allowing roughly 3–5 surgeries per cartridge.

The staples are 316L surgical stainless steel.

Can I see how many staples are left?

Yes. The cartridge has a clear bottom so you can easily view the remaining staples.
